E-Bar is a cornerstone of our relationship! We developed a Sunday ritual of E-Bar and Dallas Cowboys Football during the first few months of our relationship. Our go-to order includes a Meltdown cocktail, E-Bar's Queso, Jorge's Tacos, and Tortilla Soup. This restaurant is a little out of the way but worth the trip. It is not a chain, so you know you're getting the real Tex-Mex experience when you dine here!

Louie's is our personal favorite spot to go eat pizza! If you didn't know about this spot, you could drive right past it and never know it was there. Our recommendation is to get there before the doors open at 5:30 PM in order to get seated quickly. They might not be the kindest servers, but they know their Chicago style pizza! The pizza here is so good that this little hole in the wall was recently featured on Dave Portnoy's: One Bite Pizza Reviews!

June in Dallas is HOT! Katy Trail Ice House has the best patio, cold beer, and bar bites. This is always our first spot to take out of town guests who visit Dallas.

You can't go wrong with Tex-Mex! While Tex-Mex restaurants are on almost every Dallas block, Mi Cocina is one of our favorite spots. There are many locations, but the one located in Highland Park Village is a must! If you are looking for a fun bar vibe, pop up to The Monkey Bar for cocktails after lunch or dinner.

Toulouse is home to the BEST Espresso Martini and has an amazing brunch/ dinner menu. It also is located right along an entrance to The Katy Trail. Stop by for lunch and then explore all that Knox/Henderson has to offer!

Highland Park Village has all the luxury shopping stores you could ever dream of! Whether you are window shopping or shopping with intention, this pocket of Dallas is a memorable place to visit. Not only is it filled with some truly amazing stores, there are plenty of places to stop in for a quick bite or drink too!

Knox Street Dallas is one of Caroline's favorite streets in Dallas. It is also the last neighborhood she lived in before agreeing to start the next chapter of her life with Justin. It is filled with the chicest restaurants, cutest coffee shops, and some fabulous shopping. If you make it to Knox Street Dallas, you just might want to move to Dallas yourself!

Northpark is a one-stop spot for anything you might need! This mall is the best in Dallas and has more stores than you could ever imagine.

West Village is home to many boutique stores and casual restaurants. You will also find various workout studios within walking distance: Class Studios, Barry's Bootcamp, and Soul Cycle.

The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Gardens contain thousands of flowers and paths to walk. It borders White Rock Lake and has some of the most stunning views of Dallas.

We love The Katy Trail! This walking path takes you all the way to Downtown Dallas by the American Airlines Center. There are multiple entrance spots, but we are partial to hop on at Knox/ Henderson. If you take stroll along the trail, you are bound to pass someone you recognize or be incentivized to take a break at The Katy Trail Ice House to refuel.
